Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a local children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across Surrey, south-west London and north-west London at their purpose-built hospice, Christopher’s in Guildford. We are the only children’s hospice in Surrey supporting families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Our bereavement service has also expanded to provide wraparound services to families who have lost a child suddenly.
It costs £10 million a year to run our hospices and just 30% of that income comes from government funding, so we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to keep the service running.
