New Dawn New Day have supported women and girls affected by violence and abuse for over 35 years. We’re a small charity making a huge impact, supporting around 95 women and girls every week.
Women referred into our service receive support around domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, mental and physical health, alcohol and substance misuse and homelessness. Our approach is Trauma-Informed and Responsive, holistic, and tailored to the unique needs of each woman. New Dawn New Day was formed by local women in the last 1980s as a small community centre in Braunstone, we now cover the whole of Leicestershire and Leicester City.
