MAF is a charitable initiative designed to give children from financially challenged backgrounds the opportunity to experience outdoor activities in mountainous environments; these activities are not walks in the park, but include climbing, abseiling, gorge scrambling, hiking, kayaking , etc. The activities are great fun but challenging. By giving children the opportunity to try these activities, we want them to be inspired and get hooked so that being outdoors and being able to enjoy the outdoors becomes a key influence on them and their life styles and has a material influence on their physical and mental health.
