September is Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month – we call it #Breathtember. Thanks to your support, Breathing Matters is now celebrating its 13th year.
We invite our supporters, friends, and families to walk 13,000 steps each day in September to raise funds and awareness for pulmonary fibrosis. You can participate anytime and anywhere. If 13,000 steps is a little out of your range, how about setting up a team walking an amalgamated 13,000 steps. Or perhaps 13,000 steps per week or for the whole of September may be your personal target? It’s your challenge, so it’s your choice.
13,000 steps symbolises our 13 years of dedication to supporting the pulmonary fibrosis community.

LUCKY STREAK - Help work off that summer excess weight. A 2019 study in JAMA Internal Medicine found that women who took 4,400 steps per day had lower mortality rates than women who took 2,700 steps per day.
