Bipolar UK is here to support and empower more people affected by bipolar – a mental health diagnosis characterised by significant mood swings including manic highs and depressive lows. Bipolar disorder increases an individual’s risk of suicide by up to 20 times, and the diagnosis rates are only increasing, with young people more likely to screen positive than older people. It is our mission to support and empower more people affected by bipolar to live well with the condition; we currently help over 80,000 individuals and families a year through a blend of free services across the country.
