Dorney Lake, situated near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, is a purpose-built rowing lake with grounds that are a perfect backdrop to running as well as rowing. The flat course is ideal for a chip timed personal best over the 5k or 10k distance.
Barking Mad Dog Rescue is a UK based charity set up to provide food, veterinary support and care for abandoned dogs in Romania before finding them suitable homes. With several hundred dogs to feed on a daily basis and dogs needing veterinary attention, fundraising is ongoing and essential.
