Autism Anglia is a regional charity that works to enhance the lives of autistic people across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk by providing education, care and advice services to people with autism and their families. We also aspire to promote a greater understanding and acceptance of autism through training, information and events aimed at professionals, businesses, and the public.
The Charity’s services include a specialist school, adult residential, supported living and outreach, day opportunity centres, Diagnostic service and training. All our services offer personalised approaches which are outcomes focused, providing individuals with the necessary skills and strategies to enable them to realise their own strengths and abilities, taking positive risks in a planned and supportive way.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. It is estimated that around 1.76% of the UK population are autistic. Our vision is to create an accepting society where autistic people are understood, able to access opportunities and fulfil their potential.
