There are no rules on what you do or how you do it, you could go for a festive stroll or bike ride around your local park or woods, bang on some Christmas tunes and dance until your heart is full or head out for a jog or run. We will be having a competition for our best dressed Santa Dashers - so this is your opportunity to dress up in whatever festive attire you fancy!

The only proof we will ask for is a photo of you enjoying your Action Duchenne Santa Dash! Everyone who takes part will receive an amazing Virtual Santa Dash medal, a certificate and a thank you pack from the Action Duchenne team.

Action Duchenne has a clear vision: a world where lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

We work to deliver their vision through three core objectives:
1- DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE TREATMENTS FOR ALL by funding research, educating clinicians and researchers, supporting clinical trials and campaigning for access.
2 - BUILDING A COMMUNITY by supporting and uniting families, educating about Duchenne and raising the profile of the condition to a wider audience.
3) STRIVING FOR A MORE INCLUSIVE SOCIETY by promoting the importance of human equality, day-to-day acceptance of disability and accessibility for those with Duchenne

Our work to date has seen over £10m invested in ground-breaking research, educational programmes and campaigns. Our mission has always been to support Duchenne families at all stages of their journey, we are evermore focussed on providing bespoke, unique support to families across the UK.

Each year the team is personally supporting over 1,000 families, all of which have benefitted from our expertise, understanding, practical help and empathy. These families gain hope, knowledge and power to help them navigate their Duchenne journey.
