The Principality Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in Europe. It is Wales’ largest mass-participation and multi-charity fundraising event and the second largest half in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.
We believe that no one should be excluded from the transformational benefits of community sport.
Access Sport is a UK charity providing opportunities for vulnerable and disabled young people to change their lives through sport and physical activity.
We make inclusion the norm by tackling the access barriers faced by disadvantaged young people, focussing on the causes of exclusion, not just the symptoms.
We do this by training, equipping and supporting community sports clubs, organisations and volunteers to provide inclusive programmes, unleashing their potential to transform the lives of under-served young people in their local communities.
We work across all sports - team sports such as football, basketball and rugby, through to sports such as tennis, climbing, yoga, boxing and many, many more.
