The Chester half marathon is famous for being an enjoyable event and has won many awards over the years including the Runner's World best marathon of the year and sweatshop's best mass participation award.
Abbie’s Army is a children’s DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) brain tumour research charity. Our mission is to raise awareness and funding for specific DIPG/DMG research to help overturn its ‘terminal’ prognosis. We also aim to provide a useful resource , practical advice and support for other parents located anywhere in the UK, who receive this horrendous diagnosis for their child.
