At The Kids Network we believe that every child should get to live the life they choose. We provide children aged 8-11 facing significant adversity in London with early intervention mentoring. Our year-long programme of weekly, one-to-one mentoring gives children weekly opportunities for fun, connection, and new experiences that are proven to improve their mental health, wellbeing, confidence and resilience. This video shows just why our mentoring programme matters for children.
Right now, too many children are living in poverty, lonely and struggling with their mental health. Without proper support these can have a devastating impact on children’s development, health, education and future prospects, setting the course for their life before they’ve reached secondary school.
This is where The Kids Network steps in. As the only London charity delivering volunteer mentoring for children aged 8-11, we intervene at a crucial early age, because it's proven to protect against these harms and significantly improve children’s outcomes. Since 2017, we’ve partnered with 75 primary schools across nine London boroughs to reach 1,285 Little Londoners before it’s too late, and creating a lasting impact on their lives, families, and communities.
What's coming up in the run for charity events calendar? It's never too late to join one of these great events.
