Join over 47 000 runners from over 140 countries for this unique city marathon! The event begins and finishes in the Olympic Stadium and provides a scenic course that is flat and fast-paced. Runners will follow the route along the Amsel River and through the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark. Amsterdam is known as one of Europe's most stunning cities, and the Amsterdam Marathon allows runners to take in all of the major sights in a fantastic world-class event.

Help raise funds to save highly endangered gorillas!

There are just over 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the world and all four gorilla subspecies are highly endangered. The rangers who protect them risk their lives to keep them safe. They need simple things to do their jobs well: rainwear to protect them in the forest, compasses to help them find their way in inhospitable terrain, mountain tents for long nights spent on patrol. By taking part in an event, and fundraising for us, you will allow us to continue our award-winning conservation projects in Africa, providing a brighter future for gorillas and the people they live alongside.
