Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care

…because every day is precious

Phyllis Tuckwell provides expert palliative and end of life care, support and understanding to patients and families across West Surrey and North East Hampshire. We care for people at home, in care homes, across our hospice care sites and in the community, helping more people get the support they need when it matters most. In an average year, the NHS or central government only provides around 25% of our funding. The rest of our funding is raised by our community.

All of our services are provided free of charge, but it costs £30,000 every day to deliver this vital care and support.

Phyllis Tuckwell is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, living with cancer or another terminal illness (such as heart, lung or neurological disease) across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire.

How Your Support Helps

Phyllis Tuckwell provides expert palliative and end of life care, support and understanding to patients and families across West Surrey and North East Hampshire. We care for people at home, in care homes, across our hospice care sites and in the wider community. Our compassionate teams help manage symptoms, ease pain, support emotional and practical needs, and make care easier to understand and navigate. We are here not only at the very end of life, but earlier too, helping people live as well as possible for as long as possible. As more people need that care and support, our ambition is to reach further, support earlier, and help more people get the help they need.
