Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity which provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement across mid Essex. Established in 1982, the hospice provides a range of services tailored to meet an individual’s physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
Whether a client requires relief from symptoms, help to live independently, expert advice, specialist help in a comforting environment, or bereavement support, Farleigh Hospice is here when the people in our community need us most. Our care takes place out in the community, inside patients’ own homes, and in our 10 bed inpatient unit.
All of the services Farleigh provides are completely free of charge. With approximately 44% of our income coming from the NHS, we rely on the generosity of our community to contribute towards the £6 million it costs each year to provide our services. As we approach our 40th birthday year in 2022, we hope to be able to secure the future of our care for the next 40 years and beyond thanks to the kindness of our supporters.
