Coram has been protecting childhoods since 1739. Today, we provide a unique safety net for children and young people who are frequently ignored or marginalised by those responsible for their care. We find permanent, loving families for vulnerable children, build their confidence, develop their independence and ensure changes that last a lifetime.

Our vision is that every child should have the best possible chance to live a fulfilling life. We address this challenge by delivering innovative services which help create a lifetime of difference for 1.4m vulnerable children, young people and families each year.

Our aim is to develop as a National Centre of Excellence for Children featuring services for children who face particular challenges. Our services include:

Adoption, fostering and post-adoption support
Health and wellbeing education in primary schools
Advocacy and homeless outreach for young people
Creative therapy for children who have suffered trauma, abuse or whose behaviour places them at risk
Children’s legal advice
Make the UK a better place for families through parent-led programmes
One-to-one literacy support for children
