The treatment and care of children with cancer in the UK and Ireland has been transformed so that more than 82% of children with cancer now survive. With our long-standing history and experience in childhood cancer, Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group has been at the heart of this outstanding progress. We are proud to have helped nearly 40,000 children and young people to survive their cancer over the last 40 years.
We can’t stop now. There is more work to be done and we need your help.
Our vision is to help shape a world where all children and young people with cancer and leukaemia not only survive, but live long, healthy and independent lives. Together, we can make this happen. With your help we can continue to make a difference, now, and for generations to come, by finding kinder, safer and more effective treatments.
Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer, one in five children do not survive their disease. But we’re on a mission to change that, and with your help, we will.
