Teddy20 Supporting Children with Cancer

Teddy20 was founded in memory of Ted, who sadly lost his life to a rare form of cancer. In honour of his courage and spirit, the Newton family created the charity to support other families facing the unimaginable challenges of childhood cancer across the South West of England.

Teddy20 provides both emotional and financial support to children and young people undergoing cancer treatment, as well as their families. From helping with travel costs, household bills and everyday essentials to offering practical guidance and reassurance, the charity aims to ease the pressures that cancer brings.

Through dedicated fundraising and community support, Teddy20 established Ted’s Shack — a welcoming holiday caravan at Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth. This special retreat offers families precious time away from hospital appointments and treatment schedules, creating moments of rest, joy and togetherness when they are needed most.
