Rowans Hospice

Rowans Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with life-limiting and progressive illnesses across Southeast Hampshire. For over 30 years, the Hospice has delivered compassionate, person-centred care shaped by its guiding principle, “What Matters” ensuring that clinical, practical, and emotional support reflects each individual’s wishes, values, and priorities.
Multidisciplinary support is offered from moment of first diagnosis through to palliative, end-of-life care and into bereavement, providing a seamless pathway for individuals and those important to them. 
Services include the Palliative Care Support Hub which operates as a single point of contact for the geographical area, integrating clinical staff from both the Hospice and the NHS to deliver immediate advice, triage, coordinated Hospice admissions and urgent home assessments via Rowans Hospice at Home.
The In-Patient Unit delivers expert management of complex symptoms and compassionate end-of-life care in a safe, supportive environment. Hospice at Home enables individuals, where possible, to die within their own home, through 24/7 responsive and coordinated support within the last two weeks of their life.
Living Well Services provide self-referral, early intervention and practical guidance to live well with illness and bereavement; while specialist psychological and bereavement support extends to families, carers, and young people.
