Bail for Immigration Detainees

BID is the leading, national, legal charity challenging immigration detention and defending the right to freedom. We support people in detention to secure their liberty, uphold access to justice, and hold the government accountable under the law. 

BID believes that no person's freedom should be restricted because of their immigration status. We expose the harms and human rights violations caused by immigration detention, protect the rights of those affected, and build support for humane alternatives that enable people to live in communities rather than detention.
