Wirral Mencap is a local independent charity that supports adults with learning disabilities and their families / carers on the Wirral.

We provide services and opportunities that improve the quality of life of people with learning disabilities and that create a more accessible, inclusive, and supportive community.

Our services include:
• The Gateway Award (similar to the Duke of Edinburgh)
• Courses such as Money Skills, Walking Football, and Cookery Skills for Independence
• An Information, Advice, and Advocacy Service
• Weekly social clubs
• Monthly health awareness sessions

We strive to champion equality and promote independence so that people with a learning disability reach their full potential.
