Wild Welfare is a global organisation committed to driving forward animal welfare improvements for captive wild animals. There are an estimated 10,000 captive wild animal facilities worldwide, a significant number of which have poor welfare standards resulting in the suffering of thousands of animals every day. By working together with animal welfare organisations and captive wildlife facilities, including zoos, aquariums, sanctuaries and rescue centres, we achieve long-term and sustainable solutions to the most critical issues facing wild animals in captivity. Our vision is a world where every captive wild animal is able to thrive and live a good life.
Wild Welfare works globally to improve the lives of wild animals kept in captivity.
By running for Wild Welfare your hard work and dedication will help fuel a better future for captive animals around the globe! Every mile you run and every penny you raise will support our vital work, protecting and improving the lives of thousands of captive wild animals. Together we can create a kinder future for aniamls in human care.
