The Music Works

Transforming young lives through music

About The Music Works

The Music Works is a charity with a bold vision, a world where every young person can access music and unleash their unique creativity to thrive in life. We're specialists in working with young people facing the greatest challenges and barriers to accessing music and creative careers. We meet every young person exactly where they are – regardless of background, ability, or circumstances, and provide pathways they need to succeed.

How Your Support Helps

Thank you for your interest in fundraising for The Music Works!

We envision a world where every young person can unleash their unique creativity and thrive in life. And with your help we can bring this vision to life!

Why your fundraising matters

Every donation you raise helps us transform young lives through music across Gloucestershire - particularly those facing challenging circumstances. Whether it's a young person finding their voice for the first time, or a teenager using music to navigate difficult times, your support makes those moments possible.

Here's what the money you raise could mean for a young person in our community:

  • 🎵 £10 gives a young person the chance to attend The Drop - our weekly music after-school club
  • 🎸 £50 gives a young person a one-to-one music mentoring session
  • 🥁 £100 gives a young disabled person a week-long place on our music school holiday programme
  • 🎤 £150 gives a local young artist mentoring with a professional musician
  • 🎶 £250 gives a group of young people struggling with isolation a chance to make music together
  • 🌟 £500 supports a young person from challenging circumstances through a full 10-week music mentoring programme
