The Mikaere Foundation supports children and families living with Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), a rare and terminal metabolic disorder. One in three children born with NKH are unlikely to see their first birthday, and if they do, it's likely they're be profoundly disabled and live incredibly limited lives. We're working to make change, so one day, we can give children with NKH a future.
The Mikaere Foundation needs your support more than ever. One in three children born with NKH (Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia) won’t see their first birthday. This year might be the only year they have with their families. NKH is a rare and terminal metabolic disorder, limiting the lives of children who live with it.
