The James Brindley Foundation is a UK-based charity dedicated to preventing serious youth violence and creating safer communities. Drawing on lived experience and specialist expertise, the Foundation delivers impactful workshops, early intervention programmes, and family support that address the root causes of risky behaviour, including weapon carrying. By working directly with young people, parents, carers, and professionals, the charity equips individuals with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to make positive choices, build resilience, and create safer futures.
Every pound you raise helps us take direct action against serious youth violence including knife crime, supporting communities with the knowledge, skills, and guidance they need to stay safe.
A donation of £50 can fund a one-to-one session with a young person, giving them dedicated time with a trained mentor to explore challenges, build resilience, and make safer choices.
£150 can support a group of up to 20 young people to take part in a two-hour interactive workshop, where they learn about the realities of knife crime, how to avoid risky situations, and vital, life-saving first aid skills to respond in an emergency.
£30 can enable a parent, carer, or trusted adult to attend a supportive group session, helping them better understand the challenges young people face today and how their world is changing. These sessions equip adults with the tools and confidence to build strong relationships, support resilience, and become a consistent, trusted presence in a young person’s life.
Your support doesn’t just fund sessions, it creates opportunities for safer futures.
