The Donaldson Trust is the National Body for Neurodiversity. We champion the rights, voices, and potential of neurodivergent individuals, working to create a more inclusive and accepting society for all.
With a person-centred, strengths-based approach at the heart of everything we do, we support neurodivergent children, young people, and adults through a range of specialist services. These include tailored education, wellbeing, and transition programmes designed to meet individual needs and empower each person to thrive in their own way.
Across all areas of our work, we focus on creating inclusive pathways that enable learning, personal growth, meaningful connections, and increased independence. Our dedicated teams work closely with families, professionals, and external partners to provide support and to ensure that neurodivergent voices are heard, valued, and included in decision-making.
We are committed to driving real and lasting change. We aim to transform lives by breaking down barriers, challenging stigma, and building a society where neurodivergent people are fully understood, accepted, and celebrated for who they are.
It is estimated that 1 in 7 people are neurodivergent – that means potentially around 15% of the UK population.
But too often, their needs are misunderstood or overlooked. By supporting The Donaldson Trust, you’re helping to change that.
Thanks to supporters like you, we’re moving closer to our vision of a society where neurodivergent people are truly understood, accepted, treated fairly, and valued. Your support makes a real difference — together, we can build a more inclusive world where everyone has the chance to thrive.
