St Margaret’s has been providing expert end-of-life and palliative care for adults and their families for over four decades.
As we continue to deliver holistic and compassionate hospice care, our aim will be to empower more people who have progressive life-limiting illnesses to live fully and die with dignity.
We have been an integral part of the Somerset community for over four decades, offering compassionate and specialised palliative care, free of charge, to patients and their families when it matters most.
Our services are available to a population of approximately 520,000 people, and we believe that everyone within our community deserves tailored and dignified care so they can focus on living well, until the end.
Thanks to our amazing supporters, we’ve provided free, compassionate care to patients and their loved ones in our community for 45 years. Every penny you raise will go directly towards helping us continue our vital work across Somerset. Here are just a few examples of how your fundraising can make a real difference to our care at St Margaret’s:
· £25 could pay for a family member or friend to spend a night in our hospice Sunflower Suite, to stay close to their loved one
· £63 could pay for a counselling session with our Bereavement Support team
· £75 could pay for a Community Nurse visit, providing care to a patient in the comfort of their own home
· £85 could pay for a patient to visit our Sunflower Centre for a day.
