The National Kidney Federation (NKF) has been supporting patients and families for over 45 years and is the only national charity run by kidney patients, for kidney patients.
We provide an array of national patient support services, including peer support programmes, digital and print information resources and a free-to-call helpline run by professionals with a lived experience of kidney disease. Every year, our services help thousands of patients, carers and helathcare professionals across the UK to live well and support others through milestones such as dialysis, transplantation, living donation and life with kidney disease.
The NKF also campaigns for better kidney care, improved access to treatment and greater patient choice. We work closely with the NHS, Government and healthcare organisations to ensure the voices of kidney patients are heard and drive positive change for the estimated 3.25 million people in the UK living with chronic kidney disease.
By taking in a challenge for the NKF, you wil be helping patients and their families to stay informed, supported and empowered. Watch this space - our fundraiser Suzanne will be in touch with you to support you with your fundraising. Thank you.
