Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an international, medical humanitarian organisation working in more than 70 countries around the world.

Our medical teams act fast to save people’s lives in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We provide free medical care to people who need it the most. It doesn’t matter where they are from, which religion they belong to or what their political affiliations are. All that matters is they are human beings in need.

We have over 45,000 staff across the globe and 37,600 are people hired locally.

We are funded by millions of individual supporters, allowing us to respond quickly and remain fiercely independent.
