Lewisham Foodbank, which opened in 2012, is one of the busiest food banks in the UK. We feed approximately 2000 people per month, and a big emphasis of what we do is offering wraparound advice and support for our clients with a view to finding a pathway out of food poverty.  We are also a fuel bank, and are in partnership with a nationwide charity sourcing funding for essential items such as white goods and furniture. We have a small staff team and around 200 volunteers.
