At Children’s Cancer North, our mission is to make life better for children with cancer, and we need your help. Life can be tough for these children and families, who face hours of gruelling treatment, worry and isolation. We strive to make their lives better, by listening to their needs and providing the appropriate support.
The charity is based in the North East of England and Cumbria, and focuses on 3 main areas;
Investing in critical childhood cancer research to improve outcomes for children. Currently 80% of children diagnosed with cancer get to ring the end of treatment bell. We won’t stop until we reach 100%.
Providing support for children and families undergoing treatment at the Great North Children’s Hospital, such as music therapy for children at their bedside in hospital, family breaks to Center Parcs, days out for teenage patients and much more.
Raising awareness of childhood cancer.
