Caring for a child with a complex disability is exhausting, isolating, and challenging. Families in Surrey and surrounding counties rely on short break care, not as a luxury, but as a lifeline. Without it, many risk reaching breaking point.
Cherry Trees provides home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities and essential, meaningful breaks for their families, all across Surrey and the surrounding counties.
Last year, Cherry Trees provided a lifeline to 65 families by providing 52,843 hours of care, including 1590 overnight stays. We also organise activities that offer the children the chance to try new experiences, build skills and grow in confidence. We support the wider family, hosting wellbeing events that give parents and carers space to connect and relax. We also have a small but vital welfare fund.
Join us, take on a challenge and help to provide care for children with complex disabilities!
