We are a national charity that helps children living with a brain condition and their families to discover a better life together. We work with families, academics and practitioners to fund life-changing research and share these findings in a way families can use.
Through a network of universities, we support research into; Pregnancy, Mental Health, Family Research, Complex Disorders and Rare Conditions, Sleep, Legal Entitlements, and Creative Design.
Our approach aims to reduce the prevalence of preventable disabling conditions, but also to empower families and carers, providing them with the knowledge and support needed to face their daily challenges.
From helping a child to sleep at night to making bespoke products to help children learn and play, everything we do helps ensure children and their families enjoy lives full of hope and discovery.
By running the Birmingham Running Festival Half Marathon for Cerebra, you’ll be helping children with brain conditions and their families get the support they need. All runners commit to raising a minimum of £300, helping fund vital research and practical services that make a real difference to families across the UK.
Our team will support you every step of the way with fundraising tips, resources and encouragement to help you reach your target. Many runners find that once they get started, the support from friends, family and colleagues quickly adds up.
