Every penny donated to BID helps ensure that people in immigration detention understand and can access the legal rights they are entitled to.

When people are detained, they face significant barriers to getting the support they need. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we can continue providing vital legal advice and support to people fighting for their freedom.

£15 Communication Pack

A donation of £15 could help cover interpreting, postage and telephone costs, breaking down barriers to accessing justice.

£30 Prison Pack

A donation of £30 could help cover travel costs for our team to visit prisons and provide face-to-face immigration legal advice to people who would otherwise go without support.

£33 Legal Advice Visit

A gift of £33 could help us deliver legal advice in a detention centre by covering the travel costs of one of our legal advisers.

£60 Advice Line Pack

With ongoing cuts to legal aid, our advice line is often the first point of contact for free legal advice in detention. We answer more than 8,000 calls every year, and a donation of £60 could keep our advice line running for an entire morning.

£250 Evidence Pack

Expert reports can be crucial in helping clients challenge deportation decisions, yet many cost more than £1,000. A gift of £250 could make a significant contribution towards obtaining essential evidence and helping someone overturn a deportation order.
