The Pepper Foundation

Supporting families with children's hospice care at home.

The Pepper Foundation helps make life easier for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and the families who care for them, across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

We fund Pepper Nurses, the Pepper Play Service, outreach support and Family Days, providing specialist care, pratical help, play opportunities and moments of connection for families facing incredibly difficult times.

Demand for Pepper-funded services continues to grow. Every year, we need to raise £600,000, with all income coming from companies, sponsored events, donations, trusts and legacies.

Your support helps children receive specialist hospice-at-home nursing care, gives families access to play and outreach services, and creates supported Family Days where they spend precious time together.

Thank you for supporting Pepper. Your generosity means so much to the children and families we support.

Register today and help us be there for more children and families when they need us most.

£20 could take a family of four to the Zoo as part of a Pepper Family Day.

£25 could fund one play session with our Play Specialist.

£33 could fund one hour of care from a Pepper Nurse.

Thank you!

The Pepper Foundation provides children’s hospice care at home, play and family days out locally, for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Their service is vital for local families who deserve the right to choose to stay in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by families, if they want to. They want to keep families together at a difficult time, spread joy and ensure vital memories are being made. The Pepper funded nurses provide support at home which includes medication and pain management, end of life care and symptom support, whilst our play service offers family days out to local accessible places as well as tailored sessions within the home which is vital for patients that are completely socially isolated.
