Stripey Stork

Stripey Stork is a baby bank that collects new and pre-loved children’s items and redistributes them to local families experiencing hardship across Surrey and Croydon. Working through a trusted network of referral partners such as health visitors, midwives, and social workers, Stripey Stork ensures that essential items, including cots, prams, clothing and toys, reach those who need them most.

Founded in 2013, the charity is built on a model of sustainability and community support. By repurposing high-quality donations, Stripey Stork not only provides practical help but also reduces waste and promotes a circular economy. Every item given is checked, cleaned, and packaged with care to ensure families feel supported and valued.

In 2025, Stripey Stork helped 16,907 families with 30,280 children, and demand continues to rise. With a vision to have the operational capacity to respond to 20,000 families annually from 2026, the charity relies on donations, fundraising and corporate partnerships to continue its vital work.
