For over 50 years, Petrus has transformed lives, offering hope and support to those facing homelessness in Rochdale, Oldham, and Burnley. From warm meals to safe housing, we deliver holistic care that empowers individuals to rebuild, thrive, and belong. Together, we create pathways to recovery, resilience, and lasting change.
At Petrus, we won’t stop until you are home. A visit to our Hub is often the first step in a person’s journey towards finding the support they need. Open Monday to Saturday the Hub provides hot meals, drinks, showering facilities, toiletries, sanitary products, laundry facilities and access to clean clothes, all completely free of charge for vulnerable people.
We support on average 800 people every year, and our supported housing can accommodate over 200 people, helping residents build life skills, manage tenancies, and overcome challenges.
The number of people rough sleeping has more than doubled over the last decade and every day more people find themselves facing housing insecurity and homelessness. Your fundraising helps our teams to be there...
Making sure John can get a hot meal and drink after a cold night on the streets.
Providing Jane with a safe place to stay while fleeing an abusive relationship.
Helping Alan move into his own flat in one of our housing schemes.
Encouraging and guiding Alice to make and attend a GP appointment with her support worker.
Helping Ramesh find a new hobby that’s good for his mental health at PIER.
Making sure Alisha has someone to turn to before reaching crisis point.
And so much more!
