Making The Leap

At Making The Leap, as a social mobility charity, our mission is to transform the futures of young people from less-advantaged socio-economic backgrounds by providing training that builds their skills, confidence, and outlook, enabling them to succeed in their chosen career.

We believe that every young person deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background. Since 1993, we’ve helped those aged 11–25 in London by increasing aspirations and opportunities. We help young people see what’s possible and equip them with the tools to make it happen. In secondary schools we run programmes to develop employability, gain career insight and help students transition into career pathways. For young adults, our flagship ACE Programme supports professional development, build networks and provides access to meaningful entry level roles. Led by our alumni board, through our active alumni community, we continue to support young people to flourish.
