The Cleft Lip and Palate Action (CLAPA) is a national charity for everyone affected by Cleft in the UK. We support people to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care.
One in 700 children are born with this condition- about 1000 a year in the UK. CLAPA provides a specialist feeding service, as well as targeted information and a national network of trained volunteers providing one to one emotional support and online events.
