Active Prospects is a local charity supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities to build independence and experience joy in everyday life. We support people to leave hospital settings and create a home of their own. Every mile you run helps more people find their spark and live gloriously ordinary lives, with independence and a real sense of belonging.
Every mile you take on stays local — supporting people right here in Surrey and Sussex build lives of their own.
Active Prospects supports autistic people and people with learning disabilities across your community — in the same towns, streets and neighbourhoods you pass through on your challenge.
We also provide one-to-one personalised wellbeing support for people who find that traditional mental health services don’t work for them — offering flexible, tailored support that fits wonderfully neurodiverse brains.
£100 could help create a calm, sensory-friendly space at home — somewhere a person can go to feel settled, safe, and ready to take the next step in their day.
For people like Drew, that kind of support changes everything.

With the right support and a space of his own, things began to change. Slowly, at the right pace Drew started building routines, getting out into his local area, and meeting up with family.
What changed wasn’t Drew.
It was the environment around him. And a team that took the time to understand who he is, not just what he needs.
His parents describe the change as life-changing.
This is what your fundraising makes possible.
