We are a special needs sports charity providing the opportunity for children and adults with a learning disability to learn the skills to take part in ice hockey, in a safe and fun environment.
We are based in Streatham in the London borough of Lambeth and have participants from across London and beyond.
All our volunteer coaches are qualified under our sports governing body, and starters are coached in skating and stick handling skills in a structured programme.
As a club our main running costs are ice time and coaching registration and PQE costs. Players pay a fee for which we try to keep reasonable and endeavour to cover ice time costs in this way.
However we endeavour to provide the necessary protective kit on a loan basis. Although we recycle this where possible, it is an expensive and ongoing charge but vital to ensure the safety of our athletes.
