Karis’ Helping Hand was created in memory of a brave and inspirational little girl called Karis, who sadly passed away from a rare and aggressive brain tumour at just 10 years old.
After experiencing first-hand the emotional, physical and financial challenges that families face when a child is seriously ill, the charity was founded to support children diagnosed with brain tumours and their families across the South East.
Through grants, gifts, memory-making days out, essential support and simply being there when families need it most, Karis’ Helping Hand aims to bring comfort, smiles and hope during incredibly difficult times.
Every pound raised helps families facing some of the hardest moments imaginable. When a child is diagnosed with a brain tumour, life changes overnight.
Parents are forced to balance hospital stays, emotional trauma, financial pressure and the heartbreaking reality of watching their child fight for their life.
Karis’ Helping Hand exists to make those dark moments feel a little lighter. Whether that’s funding special family memories, helping with everyday essentials, providing gifts to poorly children, or simply reminding families they are not alone.
By fundraising for Karis’ Helping Hand, you are helping create smiles during pain, comfort during fear, and precious memories that families will treasure forever.
100% of money raised goes towards the children and families we support. Your support genuinely makes a difference when they need it most.
