Supporting HEART UK – The Cholesterol Charity means helping tackle one of the UK’s biggest and often overlooked health risks: high cholesterol. Almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol, a major contributor to heart disease, strokes and vascular dementia. Many people won’t know their levels until it’s too late — which is why awareness, education and early action are vital.

Funds raised through challenge events help HEART UK provide trusted, evidence-based support to individuals, families and communities across the country. Donations enable expert guidance on lowering cholesterol, resources to help people understand their risks, and campaigns that push for earlier diagnosis of inherited conditions such as familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH). They also help HEART UK train healthcare professionals and advocate for better care and prevention nationally.
