Harry's Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust (Harry's HAT) is a small, family‑led UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of children living with hydrocephalus, and the families that love and care for them.
This life‑threatening condition - often referred to as “water on the brain” - is the most common reason for brain surgery in children. It affects around 1 in every 770 babies in the UK, and although treatments exist, there is currently no cure.
We achieve our mission by:
- Raising awareness of the condition within both community and medical settings.
- Funding front-line workers to learn more about hydrocephalus and enhance care
- Connecting & supporting families.
- Campaiging for early diagnosis through our Get-A-Head campaign
How Your Support Helps
The fundraising target shown below is the minimum fundraising target. By registering for this event, you agree to raise the minimum fundraising amount as specified by Harry's HAT for the event. This amount must be reached by the fundraising deadline, which is typically 1 month after the event date(s).
If the minimum fundraising target is not met, The Charity may need to charge the full cost of your event place (not the discounted entry fee as shown below) to you, and also a fee for any reasonable administrative costs incurred.
