Adoption Focus is an Ofsted 'Outstanding'-rated Voluntary Adoption Agency (VAA)
Adoption Focus specialises in adoption and provides a friendly, caring and professional adoption service. Our vision is to provide every child who needs a new family with adopters who want to parent them with care, love and understanding. We place the welfare of children at the heart of our service provision.
Adoption Focus has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted on each occasion we have been inspected - most recently in 2024. We recruit, prepare, assess, approve and support prospective adopters. We then work with Local Authorities from across the country to find children in need of adoptive homes and place them with these families. Adoption Focus is committed to providing life-long post-adoption support for all of our adoptive families. We have a dedicated adoption support team available to respond to any queries or problems and to give advice, expertise, training and support.
How Your Support Helps
As a registered charity, we rely on regular donations to
- Provide specialist therapeutic support when families need it most
- Deliver training to adoptive parents to understand trauma and attachment
- Offer lifelong post-adoption support, so no family feels alone
