The route's remoteness and constant coastal vistas makes it one of the south's best-kept secrets. This well-crafted off-road route will guide you around the perimeter of the former airbase at Thorney island, with views over to the Witterings, Prinstead Bay, and the surrounding Southdown's.

The flat nature of the course makes it the perfect trail run for someone attempting their first 1/2 Marathon or someone want to record a fast time. With two route distances to choose from (15K, 21K), there is a distance to cater for all abilities. The event is chip timed and will have water station(s) on route to keep you hydrated.

At the finish you will receive a well-deserved medal and finish line prize. Catering will also be available after your well deserved run. Regardless of experience or ability, we actively encourage new runners to our events and have 2 route lengths to choose from Half Marathon (21K) & 16k.
