Alopecia UK is the only national charity working to improve the lives of children and adults experiencing alopecia, and the families of those affected. We provide online resources and face-to-face peer support for people struggling with the psychological impact of living with a visible difference. We fund leading research into alopecia, its causes and potential treatments. We raise awareness of alopecia, representing the patient voice to healthcare professionals, government bodies, and pharmaceutical companies. We advocate for fair treatment pathways and we campaign against stigma and discrimination. Our vision is a world without alopecia, or a world in which people with alopecia live the life they want with confidence.
