We know sight loss can be devastating. We help people move forward with their lives feeling more informed, positive and able to live well.
The services we offer are informed by the experiences of people using them. Everyone’s experience of sight loss is unique, that’s why we tailor our services so you can get the right support, when you need it most.
Vista’s services enable people affected by sight loss to improve:
• Independence and choice through meeting you at diagnosis in hospital, providing low vision aids and cane training that gets you out and about with confidence.
• Social connections and community links through our community of 8,000 people registered with sight loss, local meet ups and on-line forum.
• Health and wellbeing through answering your concerns via our helpline and building your tech skills with our Tech Together Service.
For children and young people, we offer a tailored programme of family activities from 0 – 24 years and information and support for parents and carers.
We also raise awareness of eye health and to prevent unavoidable sight loss through screening and by influencing local health policy.
