The Care Workers' Charity

The Care Workers' Charity (CWC) advocates for the rights, wellbeing, and financial security of the UK’s care workers. From championing fair treatment and providing mental health support to offering crisis relief grants, CWC is committed to ensuring care

The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) is dedicated to uplifting care workers across the UK by advocating for fair treatment, professional recognition, and improved working conditions. Through our workforce advocacy program, we champion care workers’ rights to fair wages, comprehensive training, and enhanced workplace support, collaborating with industry partners and advisory boards to shape a better future for social care.

Mental health support is another cornerstone of our mission, with partnerships offering free counselling and Mental Health First Aider training. In times of crisis, CWC provides immediate financial relief through grants, distributing over £6.6 million to support over 13,500 care workers during critical moments.

Our Care Worker Advisory Board and initiatives like Professional Care Workers’ Week elevate the voices of care workers, placing them at the centre of policy and research discussions. By supporting CWC, you contribute to a transformative movement that values, protects, and strengthens the dedicated individuals caring for society’s most vulnerable.
