SeeSaw Grief Support
For bereaved children and young people in Oxfordshire
SeeSaw provides support for children, young people and their families in Oxfordshire when a parent, carer or sibling is seriously ill or has died.
Each year SeeSaw provides support for over 450 bereaved children and since the first child received our services, over 8,000 young people have received support from us. Every young person experiences grief differently and the support SeeSaw offers is determined by the needs of each individual child. Our services range from 1-1 support, telephone calls and home visits, to online support videos and booklets. We also provide advice, resources and training to schools and professionals to ensure high quality bereavement support is accessible for all.
Our mission is to offer free support before and after a bereavement for all children and young people in Oxfordshire, if and when they need it.
Through appropriate and timely support, SeeSaw can help to reduce the emotional, psychological and mental health consequences of grief. Young people are then able to face the future with hope.
