Pseudomyxoma Survivor

Pseudomyxoma Survivor is a patient and caregiver-led charity providing support, information and a voice for people affected by pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP), appendix cancers and other rare peritoneal malignancies.

We understand that a diagnosis of a rare cancer can be overwhelming and isolating. Our aim is to ensure that patients, families and carers have access to trusted information, emotional support and a community of people who understand their experiences.

Through our support network, we help people navigate the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, recovery and living with the ongoing effects of rare peritoneal cancers. We advocate for patients, raise awareness of PMP and appendix cancers, and work to improve understanding among healthcare professionals and the wider community.

We are committed to advancing knowledge and improving outcomes by supporting and funding vital research into PMP, appendix cancers and rare peritoneal malignancies. By investing in early stage research and working with researchers and clinical teams, we aim to help accelerate progress towards earlier diagnosis, new treatments and better care for patients.

Together, we aim to ensure that everyone affected by these rare cancers has a stronger voice, access to support and the reassurance that they are not alone.
